YES. I guarantee your friends think it is weird and no one has ever told you. Eyeliner with no mascara is really dumb. I always notice the women who do this because it stands out as very, very odd.

How long are your natural lashes? Mascara is not that weird of a feeling to get used to.

Cover up on any blemishes and sometimes a light swipe of blush.

Go for it!

Um there are a number of us posting about the liner with no mascara look. And good for you for finding an article out there. Hardly what I would call “not widely shared”. But rock on with your mascara-less look.

To look polished, every woman should wear at least some makeup lest she look unprofessional.

The best canvas for applying makeup is a nice complexion.
Good skin makes up a solid foundation for your look.

If you have a few blemishes, age spots or any redness, a light foundation should be applied to just cover these minor imperfections.
If skin needs hydrated, a good tinted moisturizer is also an excellent option.

Then basically groomed eyebrows, eyelashes curled + a natural lip tint are needed to pull off your look.

Wearing at least “some” makeup makes you appear that you make a daily effort in self-care which always makes the nicest impression on people you come into contact with!

You look fine. The mascara harpies are usually the ones with short, thin, light lashes and small eyes. They look like death without mascara.

Mascara never looks natural. Ever.

And then don't forget to jump in your time machine to get back to 2018 before heading to work!

And men who do not cover their imperfect skin with makeup? Do they look unpolished and lacking in self care, too?

I use a concealer around my nostrils and under eyes. After that, I use an eyebrow gel (naturally thick and dark eyebrows so no penciling in), black mascara, and tinted lip balm.

it is in fact widely shared to the point that this article is about "how to pull off" mascara-free look. I have a strong feeling you are not pulling it off.

eyeliner is the absolute least natural product ever. so whatever your view of mascara, don't use an eyeliner without it. it's ugly and weird.

Those obsessing about unnatural eyeliner might need to be introduced to some different types of eyeliner and different techniques. Tightlined eyes without mascara and maybe a bit of highlighter in the corners of the eyes and brow bones is an easy, bright, natural look

Cool - why did you answer this thread then? That's not was the OP was asking.

Dp. To offer the perspective that a little goes a long way and you don't need to smear pancake batter and paint on your face to look pulled together. Just a guess.
