Coworkers starting affairs

Op here, several unusually good posts of advice and feedback. Everyone echoes my concerns and I know that there are several red flags. The guy that said go for it and deal with consequences is obviously what a small part of me is loudly stating.

Yes, I have disclosed and said enough to be well enough involved at this point.

My wife got home from out of town yesterday and I fully disclosed the conversation. She confirmed she is interested in the opportunity for me and potentially for us whether it be one time or ongoing. As a couple we've talked about her several times before this all went down. Wife is actually as excited as the coworker is at the prospect.

So.....still haven't made up my mind but do appreciate several of the thoughtful replies. I know I could gracefully decline if my better judgment does indeed prevail.

Ps- No, I'm not gay but excellent trolling post by whoever responded with 'yes.' Seriously, I did laugh.

Your wife is still into you jumping into bed with this co-worker even after you confessed all?

You must attract crazy. And if you do go for it, you will be posting soon afterwards, asking how do I get rid of a stalker who got me fired?

So even though it was pretty much a unanimous "No, run away fast" you're going to go for it? Enjoy the coming train wreck.

Not unanimous. I'm all for it as long as he promises to keep us updated. Might need to take this to explicit if it happens.

I have a new found appreciation for my boring life, after reading this thread.

Maybe you and your DW shouldn't have an open marriage - you need to be more cautious and exercise better judgment! The fact that you both are still co templstinh going through with this doesn't bode well.

Dear Penthouse, I never thought this could happen to me ...

Two anecdotes to consider: (1) An extremely attractive coworker targeted me. I fell hard for her before realizing she was a crazy, abusive Narcissist. I'm employing a No Contact approach to regain my sanity, but now EVERY SINGLE DAY at work is awkward because her office is two feet from mine. Lesson: Don't poop where you eat. (2) A swinger couple at work got involved with a crazy female employee - she happened to be a subordinate employee. When things went south, the crazy woman filed a grievance with HR, which resulted in a widespread investigation into their lifestyle to determine if anyone else had been "victimized" by them. The report is over 500 pages long and is filled with dozens of interviews: "Did Manager X or his wife ever approach you about having sex with them?" What was a private lifestyle became quite public and embarrassing. The couple quit the company. The crazy "victim" is still employed. Lesson: Never stick your dick in crazy.

90% chance that this ends with the coworker stealing a used condom and impregnating herself.

A little off topic but serious question- why get married? If you're this excited about mind-blowing sex from another woman, why even get married?
