Used to be that science was science. But then as companies figured out more and more how to manipulate elections, they began trying to deny science. The fossil fuel industry has been spending a billion dollars a year to fund a massive propaganda machine to convince conservatives that climate change is a hoax, that man has zero impact on climate and that nothing bad is happening.

Yet costs and impacts keep rising every year.
