I posted earlier about how I loved her during the season but not so much last night. Reality Steve has an interesting take that she always wanted Bryan and kept Peter for the drama. He also isn't a fan of Peter. I still think she can do better than Bryan - he seems smarmy but not sure Peter is the right guy either.

Did she really like Peter or did she just want to choose between 2 proposals? Bryan seemed to be rubbing it in Peter's face by proposing to Rachel twice, after Peter said he only wanted to propose once. And Rachel claimed she wasn't mad at Peter, but she seemed like she didn't care about him anymore. She told so many guys she loved them back (in the moment) but did not seem that sympathetic towards them afterwards.

Who do you think will be the next bachelor?

Bryan's second proposal on the live show seemed inarticulate and without passion. He really doesn't come across as a compelling or appealing character IMO.

And they were gigantic! They didn't even look like normal false eyelashes. She looked fine without them, she didn't really need them.

I just rewatched the proposal. She was talking about Peter more than Bryan, how the week was so confusing and she's drawn to people (like Peter) who then she winds up not winding up with. Bryan's face dropped when she first started saying that and he tried to hide it by licking his lips.

I thought it was telling that Reality Steve's source described Peter as "non-commital," "manipulative," emotional," and "a basket case."

I could kind of see all of those because he seems very controlled and sort of selectively emotional.

He's gross and so smarmy. I lost a lot of respect for Rachel last night. I just don't get what she sees in him.

She was so petty, too, telling Peter she's living her best life. It seemed really rehearsed and unnecessary. He seemed vulnerable and hurt.

She was super into Bryan the whole time, so no surprise she picked him. Hope it works out for her.

I think her attitude in the final episode was simply reacting to having realized Peter was playing her to be the Bachelor. And that's why she kept repeating that the show isn't for him--to make clear that his "not ready" act should disqualify him from profiting from the show further.

Why go on the show if you are super old fashioned?
