The Bachelorette Makes Her Choice ...

I think she was overtly saying he shouldn't be the bachelor.

He's trying to have his cake and eat it too. And she's like, Nope, you shouldn't be able to be the bachelor if your whole thing is that you need a year or more to become engaged. She is pissed because it's an act and she knows it now.

Yes, there was no subtlety. She was clear. And she was right, but he'll probably be Bachelor anyway.

I agree w/ the PP who said at least Peter's season will be an interested trainwreck.

Totally agree that the win when the Bachelor is someone that already has a following. Dean should be on it in 5 years. Until then ... Nate? So cute.

Rachel was trying to control Peter by saying he shouldn't be the Bachelor. If she really cared about him, she would want him to be happy and free to do what he wants, not be bossing him around on TV saying it's not for him for all the producers to hear. She can state her opinion but Peter knows what is best for him, not her.

The seasons where they chose a stranger to be the bachelor were extremely boring.

Still thinking about the finale.

My feelings the rest of the season made sense, for the most part. Rachel genuinely seemed into Bryan. His sleaziness and obviously terrible kissing didn't phase her. Great. Not for me but great.

But the weeping and gnashing of teeth with a Peter... that's who she wanted. I don't think I can buy any other scenario.

I don't think she really cares about him. I think she read all the same stuff we read about him, and realized he's kind of a dbag.

Some of you make me feel sorry for the men you date.

All along = when there are only 6 guys left and not sure could propose within the timeframe of the tv show = when he isn't the bachelor. That's the game playing. I also think for Rachel to have picked Peter with him not being ready to get engaged, he would have needed him to make her feel secure in his feelings in every other way with both actions and words. I never saw him do that. It became all about how he was feeling/not feeling rather than her being the focus.

I think it's really telling that they haven't figured out where to live yet. I give it 6 months.

I also think it's telling that they are considering moving to LA - where neither of them are from.

Why is Eric barely mentioned in this thread? He should be the next Bachelor!

Eric is not going to be the Bachelor. Sorry.

What about Vinny from JoJo's season for bachelor? I think the producers are seeing how the guys on BIP perform...a la Nick V....he redeemed himself on BIP last summer.
Anonymous
Sorry but Vinny is not hot enough to be the bachelor. If Peter can't make up his mind, they might choose Eric.
