DH has a good friend from work with the last name "Ho". His wife kept her maiden name and I don't blame her.

I also went to school with a family of kids whose last name was "Butt".

These are both incredibly common last names! I teach middle school in ffx, and have at least one or two (non related) students with each name most years.

- Raper (entire family changed their surname, even the preteens)

I went to school with a girl whose last name was Butcavage. I always thought it was an awful name-but don't remember anyone ever making fun of it (but I didn't meet her until 10th grade so I don't know what her younger years were like.)
