Well, Labor Day 2018 is on Sept 3rd. If they have approval to open before Labor Day for the next two years, as someone mentions above, the guess would be Monday, August 27.

Yes, if they decide to do so. They don’t have to start before Labor Day.

There are three proposed calendars for 2017-2018.

Sorry. It's late. I meant proposed for 2018-2019. Two have start dates earlier than this year and one is similar to what we had this year.

They need to shift the calender one more week so we can finish earlier in June.

The options that go until 1/4 have two week winter breaks. 12/24 is a Monday and 1/4 is a Friday.

Note that if you want the WED before Thanksgiving off -- Option A is your choice. I like that one.

Taking two weeks off after Xmas is just too much.
