Ha...good one. I like that. |
Apparently communism is good now - so says the Republican Party |
Polls. Now, there's a great example of why the world thinks white liberals are gullible. |
How many of those Chinese critics of the "white left" have *actually* engaged any of the people they presume to criticize in any kind of meaningful discussion?
I bet it's less than 1%. And yet they presume to criticize others for not having a sense of what's going on, when they haven't even ever had that conversation in person for themselves. |
+1 They focus on the highest goal of spiritual enlightenment and leave the strengthening of the foundation of personal security, finance, food and water to the adults in America. Perpetual teenagers. |
Chinese society your ideal of freedom, equality, and democracy, OP? |
You don't live where I live. Xoxo |
Republicans love Russians, they love Soviet / KGB holdovers like Putin, love the ChiComs... What's the world gone to? My grandparents would be rolling over in their graves.... Far more loyal and glowing toward them than they are to their own patriotic American neighbors, who they revile for the absolute stupidest of reasons, like "she drives a Prius." The right has absolutely lost its mind. |
No, I don't live inside the fantasy world in your head. xoxoxo right back at ya. |
IMHO this concept of "baizuo" itself is a rather naive perspective taken solely from the viewpoint of someone who is a total outsider to American culture. Most Americans are better off than the Chinese are. Maslow's hierarchy of needs shows that at different levels of quality of life, different things are in focus. The typical American, whether left or right, has far fewer of the core needs to worry about than the average Chinese does. We don't spend a ton of time worrying about the same things they do. Liberal "elites" focus on quality of life areas that are inconceivable to the Chinese because in America we have far more luxury to do so and those items are far more reachable than they are in China. |
No, for the liberals in this country of Cuba |
* it's Cuba |
