White liberals are such a joke, the Chinese use it as an insult on forums

This quote stood out to me, as this contradiction is the most glaring of all, IMO. I will never, ever understand how those who call themselves "feminists" can defend Middle Eastern Muslims, particularly men. It's absurd to say, "Oh, well not ALL of them feel/act this way." This is Middle Eastern culture. Women are hardly treated better than dogs. How can someone who identifies as a feminist defend these men and their abhorrent practices?

I'll be waiting for an honest answer, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well, you see a reasonable reading of the Qu'ran does not oppress women--but an inflamed radical reading of it definitely oppresses women. Just like the Bible.
So, feminists are embracing the more reasonable reading of the Qu'ran, just like the bible see?

Feminists follow the Episcopalian version of Islam. Conservative, but more forgiving and humanistic. Muhammad as Charleton Heston more or less.

When was the last time there was a liberal march for jobs, the economy, and national security - not as a side issue, but the main issue of the march.

Occupy Wall Street?

Hahaha!

What is so funny? Try to start any protest in China that is not sanctioned by the party, including anti-abortion, you will get crushed by tanks.

Ooow. THE DRAMA MAJOR IS HERE.

I'm not defending the Chinese government nor their treatment of human rights. I'm actually surprised you Liberals haven woken up after 8 years of ignoring issues I most admired you for championing. But, you suck in America and your foreign policy sucks in words, deeds and actions. Get a clue. Since you are sooooo smart....how much of our debt does China own? Hmm?

What did Occupy Wall Street accomplish?

Do you know when the Chinese-held debt started to take off? Under G.W. Bush. But I guess you wanna blame some pot-smoking hippie anarchists for that, eh?

Trust me...I know. Why do you think Republicans are in-fighting.

Back to the topic of memorializing Obama making America look bad while Democrats walk around sprinkling fairy dust around claiming an amazing legacy with extreme efficiency. Let's do the top 50 accomplishments! In a Memorial Day Weekend mini-series! I'm sleepy so I'll start with part one tomorrow! Xoxoxo!!!

That's true, national dept is huge and it's disturbing. Obama was burning through Chinese money like it was his own....I mean American taxpayers.

But I have a funny feeling that China will not see a rat tail of it to be paid back......
Just a thought about who is smart.

Oh, yeh? And why are you suddenly don't like Asian folks to immigrate to America? They don't kill people in night clubs, their kids don't piss in little girls' mouths, they don't chop up pips with machetes, don't need gov assistance - is that why, liberal racist?

That's what happens when you irresponsibly spend trillions on wars we don't need, give the rich a trillion dollar tax cut, give big pharma a trillion more... not to mention giving too-big-to-fail banks piles of money too, because some Republican idiot thought deregulating would be great - you end up in hock and having to borrow money. Thanks G. W. Bush, thanks GOP. This was your doing.

What next, will someone post an article saying "Uruguayan sorghum farmers think NASA engineers are whiny little bitches and that they will never put anything into space" - except that NASA engineers know a shit load more about putting things into space than Uruguayan sorghum farmers and have in fact been putting things into space, putting humans into space and on the moon and visited every planet in our solar system and the opinion of Uruguayan sorghum farmers on the subject is pretty much something irrelevant, meaningless and that nobody gives a damn about.

Huh? I thought it was the liberal's worldview that we should march towards globalism, in which we care very much about what Uruguayan sorghum farmers think about our NASA engineers.

Why, are we going to start using biodiesel made from Uruguayan sorghum to fuel our rockets? I get that you were making an attempt at humor but humor works best when it actually has some kernel of sense, relevance or truth to it.

You missed the kernel of truth. It is precisely the misplaced priorities and virtue signaling exhibited by the left that result in ridiculous liberal goals akin to placing Uruguayan sorghum farms on equal footing with NASA engineers.

THIS.

Oh really? What's your estimate of the percentage of liberals do you think regularly ride around in limos drinking champagne, that you truly think this is such a "thing?"

(Trying to understand this parallel universe that you seem to live in....)

It's a figurative name. What's next, you are going to ask how many liberals have hearts that are literally bleeding?

Really?

OMG. Too good.

The Christian Bible does allow for slavery - check Leviticus. However, all Christian nations have progressed enough to ban slavery.
The Koran does allow for mistreatment of women.
The fact that many Muslim nations have not progressed enough to ban mistreatment of women is not an indictment of Islam (after all, Christianity also allowed for bad things), but rather it's an indictment of societies that refuse to modernize.

Modern feminists are a joke. There is a reason only 10% of women in America and 15% of women in UK consider themselves feminists

LMAO! Bill Clinton didn't get us into Iraq and Afghanistan. Bill Clinton didn't give the rich a trillion dollar tax break. Bill Clinton didn't give big pharma a trillion dolllar giveaway. That was all on George W. Bush.

Ridiculous liberal goals? SERIOUSLY? Dude, whatever it is that you're smoking, it's rotting your brain.

"Ridiculous liberal goals" is why we have better air quality (unlike China where a million plus people are dying prematurely each year because of their horrifically bad air quality) better water quality (ever seen how much trash, oil, et cetera is floating in the rivers around Chinese cities?) better and safer working conditions (unlike Chinese slave wages, people locked in factories, losing limbs, et cetera), food that's less likely to poison you (unlike melamine-tainted baby formula in China), safer consumer products, less fraud, less counterfeiting, et cetera et cetera et cetera.

And it's not "misplaced priorities" either. Jobs, economy, national security DIDN'T GO AWAY for liberals. All of that "ridiculous liberal virtues" stuff was done IN ADDITION TO all of those core things, not IN PLACE of them. Did you know that the solar power industry is one of the fastest growing job creators in the entire United States?

No, for the liberals in this country of Cuba

By the very definition liberals dislike dictatorships. Unlike the current president who admires strongmen autocrats.

What do you posit is the political leaning of those wearing Che Guevara shirts? Who has been pointing to Venezuela as the shining example of what Socialism could be?

No one is pointing to Venezuela as the shining example of anything, ever

LOL, google "Bernie Sanders Venezuela Socialism"

The fact that you would tie the growth of Chinese-held debt to actions or inaction of G.W. indicates you have no understanding of why the debt grew under him. Good luck on your mini series. I tentatively give it a 1 out of 10.
