The report today contained allegations and assertions but no evidence. I understand that a more detailed report (it would be hard to be less detailed) will be released in a few weeks.

So right now there is no evidence, but Obama is expelling diplomats?

What specifically in the Russian Hacking swung the election?

Was it Neera Tanden wanting to steal Libya oil revenue? Or something even worse?

Obama's gov't. doesn't need proof of any kind to expel foreign nationals. More dog and pony show from Obama on his way out the door.

So let's see it!

There's nothing to see here. Move along now.

The absurdity of the whole situation is emphasized by Obama imposing a ridiculous order for the intelligence community to complete a comprehensive report prior to his departure on Jan. 20.

How on earth is a comprehensive report on something of this apparent gravity going to be completed in a few weeks' time?

It's only 13 pages long, how can that possibly be a comprehensive analysis?

LOL did anyone read the disclaimer at the very beginning of the report?

Foreign governments attempt to hack our government all the time which makes Hilary's private server scheme all the more laughable and scary. There are also claims that the DNC hacks were an inside job. Obama needs to provide proof on serious allegations against a foreign government like election tampering.

True. In light of the Democrats claiming Russian hacking is such a huge threat to America, how is that consistent with the conclusion that HRC was NOT criminally negligent?

So in other words the Russians hacked the DNC and John Podesta by sending phony links and then the Russians publicly disclosed the information they obtained.

Are we sure this wasn't the ghost of Daniel Berrigan doing this?

Excuse me, Daniel ELLSBERG, I got my liberal icons mixed up LOL

Clearly to the extent the report says anything or anyone was hacked, it was solely a "political party," which is a private organization. Nothing in the report states that the hacking of the political party influenced the outcome of the election. Nothing in the report states that the purpose of the hacking was to assist Trump in getting elected.

Hopefully Obama has more information than has been released to the public. But, what has been released is nothing but unsupported assertions.

The data needed for the report should have been collected and analyzed some time ago as it was necessary to support the allegations that have been publicly made linking the hacks to the Russians. Putting that data into a report shouldn't take much time at all.

I'm assuming perhaps naively that a direct order from the Commander in Chief to prepare such a report would involve a comprehensive review from the top down and the bottom up of every scrap of information, data, analysis, and then subject it to intensive scrutiny, and re-analysis.

As you point out correctly, there is very little meat on this turkey leg.

And back to the deflections.

I'm going to guess that Obama didn't start talking publicly about this until the intelligence was irrefutable. Now whether we get to see the evidence is another thing.
