He was arrested for DUI this weekend, crashed his car near River and Bradley.

I have zero empathy or compassion for anyone who gets a DUI.

I understand alcoholism as I have an alcoholic sibling. That sibling has also gotten multiple DUIs. They deserve SO much more punishment than they've received from the courts.

The most stress-free time of my life was when my sibling was in jail or required to have an interlock device installed in their car.

The other times? It was a waiting game for the next phone call about their wreck and arrest and lots of praying that the next time they didn't hurt or kill someone innocent.

I've met him several times and he's a really nice guy. I was shocked at what happened. DUI is unforgivable. Walking away, too. Terrible behavior. He should apologize and explain that he has a sick addiction that he will never, ever, ever indulge in again.

Happened to be watching the 6 o'clock news and Leon is having a hard time reading the teleprompter. He keeps stuttering and mispronouncing words. It's hard to watch. I hope he's OK.
