Wife is initiating more lately

OP- you just sound like a great husband and she loves you. Don't listen to the cheating theories.

Does she want anything unusual or is it pretty much the same sex you always had? Sudden interest in a new and different type of sex is a red flag for cheating.

She seems to be wanting about the same stuff. The bj wan't expected but other than that she's doing hot things to turn me on such as straddling/grinding me in her underwear and telling me she can't wait to ____ me later. Also, shes flirting with me over text occasionally. Its been a lot of fun.

I'm not really doing anything different although I've pretty consistently:
-talked to her every day
- helped around the house daily
- do almost all kids homework and cub scouts, etc
- make a solid living and am fiscally responsible
- stay very fit and dress nice
- had some issues with pe which I addressed a few years ago. (She can pretty much rely on good sex and an O)

Hmm, I didn't think cheating until you posted this honestly but now I kind of do. Sorry.

Not to derail, but can you tell me in non-explicit terms how you addressed this issue. Askingforafriend

Tried for years to figure it out myself without much luck. It didn't help that my wife is very athletic and attractive. Finally talked to a doc about it who prescribed a med. The med worked great.

What is the med? Any side effects?

NP. Does your friend want to know?

Of course!

Another DH here. How do you two define "premature"?

I'm VERY thankful and have made sure that I've thanked her and given her postive feedback.

I even got a bj during the debate Sunday night (sorry if thats too explicit for this forum)! Elections must turn her on because the last one was about 4 years ago!

Anyway, I'm really excited about the changes and its certainly having a positive effect on our relationship.

How old is your wife?

She's 43.

There you go ... A lot of us get sex crazy around that age. It's the perimenopausal hormonal changes. Aahh, how I miss that. Now I'm post-menopause and don't get quite as revved up as back then.

Not the op but the pp. lasts about 2 min from intercourse, longer if drunk but not by much.

I am pretty sure it's because she has a massive crush on a man. He is a SAHD, live in the neighborhood, our kids are the same age. They get together all the time, after school. He is attractive, objectively speaking. And she talks about him. A lot.

I am a bit suspicious, but to be perfectly honest, I am extremely happy with the new found sexual connection. I don't really care how this came about. Is that strange? It's awesome to be having energetic sex again.

This is me, age 42, husband benefitting from my harmless, massive crush. Husband has no idea.

uh-oh. I didn't realize that was premature. OTOH, I always make sure she has an O beforehand.

My sex drive is out of control for about a year (I'm 38). It's probably hormonal but I also started doing yoga about a year ago and I think it increases drive.
I am not nor have I ever cheated.

PP, I think you are fine. If I O I want DH to do his thing succinctly. That's only REALLY premature if she hasn't O'd beforehand.

Its premature if it was before she and I wanted it to end, or if I had to make too many pauses and couldn't keep a good rhythm. My doc prescribed an ssri which worked great but made me sick to my stomach. I googled a list of meds that caused delayed ejac and found one that worked for me. Its gone from 2-3 timid minutes to 20-30 or whenever we're ready to be done. The best part is I can really make her have to pull out her best moves to get me there if I want to. Also, I'm much more satisfied with a good high quality session and am good with a few times a week. Also, the wife enjoys the sex a lot more so she's more game to do it whenever I initiate.

No she's not. My first wife cheated on me and I know the signs. She's a great wife.

If you know the signs of infidelity as you say you do, you'd know that one of them is a renewed/increased interest in sex, as the cheater uses the accessible spouse as an outlet for his/her increased desire. Hopefully this isn't your situation but never say never.

STFU.

This could he my DH. Im trying much harder to initiate. Had sex Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'm doing it because:

A. Its important to him and i love him and want to make him happy
B. The more i do it, the more i want to do it.

Not cheating you nimrod.
