I'm with you Op. I don't think it was o.k. for them to do that and I also think that 12 is plenty old enough to know better than to do that. Some kids just have no respect for other people's property. |
Amazed at the people who think this is ok. I woul 100% report to the police. We don't tolerate this in Virginia. |
You are un-American. |
You're unhinged. Seriously. And people wonder why we have a Police State... |
Aww!
Nice to see kids being kids! |
Let me clarify - some little initials written in wet cement would be one thing, but what Op describes - 30 feet of these imprints - sounds like vandalism. |
I think it's cool that these kids from the neighborhood will have this to look back on/visit as they grow up. It doesn't affect the function of the sidewalk. It's just aesthetic. If I saw this in my neighborhood, it would make me smile. |
If the cement is still wet, I'm writing my name it. |
If they are still working in your neighborhood, let the project leader know and they will repair it. A bunch of privileged pricks did this in our neighborhood but with words that many of the people ion here would be offended by. I wonder if the vandalism was poking fun at something they got upset about they would demand it be fixed or if it was their freshly poured driveway they would have a different opinion. |
30 feet of initials? |
Honestly this would irritate me too OP. Initial are one thing. 30 feet of sidewalk is another story. |
I would love to see how all the people who are ok with this would be if it said Black Lives Matter or Trump etc. |
*straps gun to his waist and walks around as self appointed neighborhood watch* |
And it was right in front of their house so they got to look at it every day. Still cute? |
But it's not. It's kids writing their initials in their neighborhood sidewalk. I just can't muster any anger about this, and I kind of wonder about people who can. |
