Vent: Neighborhood kids messed up new sidewalk

When our HOA had portions of the sidewalk replaced and kids put their initials in it, the HOA made the parents pay to replace those sections.

If you're going to do it, don't sign your own name or initials!

It fades with time..fairly quickly..

My son wrote "life is good" in the sidewalk in front of our house when he was 4.

He's 11 now and you can barely see it, but it warms my heart when I walk over it.

Truthfully with the ever-present construction in our neighborhood--I've been tempted to scroll profanity...
