Yes, that is pretty. It's about double my price point- wish I could afford it. |

Under your price point but close enough to 495 and walking distance to metro for downtown. |

I like this one in KP too:

English major and Bethesda native here, and I think I can translate. "North of Greentree Road and east of Old Georgetown Road. You can get a new build under $1.5 million with 5 to 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. Wyngate Elementary School, North Bethesda Middle School, Walter Johnson High School. Too many new houses [fit the above criteria] to list here." |
with all the new developments with multiple townhouse communities and new apartment buildings the traffic will become a major shit show in the area you described. It's already pretty bad, but it's going to get horrible in the next 1-2 years. |
+1, and the neighborhood cited by the person not speaking English is right on top of the highway, do dealbreaker out of the box for many. |

not much better in the city for the price IMHO |
That's been on the market for over a year. The front is dated and the back looks like a garden apartment building. Plus that location, while lovely, could not be less convenient for trying to get to Columbia every day. |
Of course not -- and this is at least the second time you've asked |

I think with 4 kids you should buy a large new house in Kensington Parkwood.
Very family friendly, decent commute for both of you and good schools. I would not want to commute from Potomac to DC every day. |
| With 4 kids, I'd want a lot of yard and good schools - I'd buy in one of the 2-acre zoned neighborhoods in Potomac, likely Beallmount or Belvedere because they are lovely! |
You do not need two acres for four kids. That's a half acre per kid! OP's kids are going to be out of the running around the yard phase soon anyway. |
+1 Belvedere or this across the road https://www.redfin.com/MD/Rockville/12314-Riding-Fields-Rd-20850/home/10633729 |
Middle of nowhere, dated and close to the rock quarry-perfect!! |
