Because prior to this revelation, he was acting like HE wrote it (the melody) for Rihanna to sing.

If she does not get treated right, she drops the man. Then she makes herself richer by writing songs about them. She is not a victim and I am happy about that. She is a powerful woman who will not take shit from people. And she still believes in love.

Did you know that some people at her concert last year at Nationals Park got picked at random to see her backstage or get better seats?

Most artists don't do that type of thing, or you have to pay a lot to get backstage for a 30 second photo opp.

All of that being said, I think she has peaked in terms of albums. She reminds me of some of the artists from the 80's, one or two CD's and they are done because they started off at too young of an age. I know she has sold millions of albums, but I just don't see her being successful in the music industry for much longer.

LOL, ok well you're the only one then because she was the highest paid entertainer last year according to Forbes. And obviously she has dominated the headlines all summer with tales of her new romance and parties, etc. Doubt very much she will be leaving the public eye anytime soon.

No way has she earned a Prince quote. Give me a break. This is middle school bullshit. Taylor is falling off the pedastal. Finally.

Kanye, Kim K, Calvin Harris and others tried to use her and tear her down in order to increase their own fame and it backfired on them. All three of them look like whiny, petty assholes now. No one plays the publicity game better than Taylor Swift. Whether that is due to her superior PR people or her own machinations, the truth remains that she is on top.

Right, that is one year, and of course when you have a tour that is all over the world, it helps with sales.

Again, it is just a feeling, I have some of her albums so I am not being a hater. With romances, she will keep dating for as long as it takes without taking time to see what went wrong with the prior guy.

Not a fan of hers, but she is damn good at the game

Am I the only one who thinks she's the one coming off bad in this whole thing?

Yes

I think that both Taylor and Calvin need to shut up about this song. Very petty of them. They aren't the ones who performed it so they can chill the eff out.

I think it was a mistake for Harris to tell Seacrest that he couldn't see himself working with Swift and they had never talked about it. That goes beyond keeping the secret that she wrote the song he was about to drop into sounding like he thought he was too indie or too cool for her. He should have said, "I would love to work with Taylor! I think we could do amazing things together!" and left it at that. It would have been far more gallant and would not har et this whole thing off.

I don't think Swift has ever dated anyone crazier than her before so this could be interesting.

Presumably Harris's best revenge would be leaking the version of the song where Swift sang the main vocals or even her demo of the song to him and showing how much he changed it and improved it. Unless her version really was great and he is just whinging because he is a jerk.

And even then. Who. Cares!

If Taylor had wanted to officially perform this song she should have done it. All this spatting back and forth with Calvin is stupid. They gave that song up when they gave it to Rihana.

Performers sing songs written by other people ALL THE TIME. This is not new. The one who gets credit for the song is the one who performs it and makes it a hit, If Taylor thought that she could have done better she should have done the song herself. She missed the boat and now to be making this song all about her and her loser ex is...pathetic. And I am a Taylor fan.
