How often do you have an orgasm during sex?

Anonymous
Only 1 time ever - during actual intercourse with nothing else. This was with my husband.

The rest of the time, I orgasm only with oral and hand stimulation. But pretty much every time with that. And sometimes multiple times.

I have never faked. Why do you do it? Seems so, 1950s or something. Must tell my man he pleased me!

Why not just say, it didn't happen, here is what we can try to make it happen.

Every time. Most of the time it takes hand stimulation or a vibrator, but sometimes I can get there without those. I absolutely never fake it. Can't imagine that.

Fake it, until you make it!

me too. i'm so jealous.

I only get a clitoral-based organism by stimulating my clitoris while we're having intercourse. Dh does some of the clitoral massage but lets me take over when things get really hot. If I just relied on intercourse, I wouldn't have a powerful clitoris-centered orgasm. Then I also get some vaginal orgasms during intercourse but they're not as powerful and don't satiate the way a clitoral orgasm does. Have you tried manual stimulation during intercourse?

I never faked it but I have had sex when I was angry, sad, or lonely -- so I guess I was faking something! Sigh....

Seriously why? To protect the poor guy's precious ego?

I think it's so funny that there are so many self-proclaimed feminists on this board (see the wedding thread - I apparently am a bad person for letting my parents contribute to our wedding) and yet these are probably the same repressed women who fake it.

I just say - didn't happen for me - and let him finish me off with his hand or mouth. Seriously what is the rational for faking it? And don't you feel like you are "betraying" yourself? He needs to learn and he can't unless you tell him! You deserve to get it just as much as he does!

I also explain to my husband, sometimes it's just nice to have sex and I don't have to finish every single time. It still feels good and is nice.

Hell, get a vibrator and let him go to town on that if he wants to make it happen so badly.

Several times, every time.

I can only O when receiving oral, but luckily DH is super "generous" and we do it every single time we have intercourse.

never. and not much luck with manual, oral or even a vibrator. Am I really the only one?

This is definitely TMI, but my MOM told me (in the midst of her divorce from my dad after 40+ years, ugh) that she's NEVER had one and CAN'T have one (which is one of the reasons why dad was so darn unhappy, apparently, can you believe it?!). Her hormones are all messed up and the doctors can't seem to get them right. And then she asked me if I could because the doctor said that it might be genetic. And I was like, uh, yeah. Ugh!

(But for the record, I, too, have to "help things along" in that regard during sex.)

I have them, but it can take a really, really, really, really long time (sometimes an hour or more of trying)

You might want to get checked out at a dr to ensure there's nothing wrong hormonally. It's embarrassing, but there may be real treatable reasons.

For me, it's very possible my very limited libido (and possibly the difficulty cumming, really don't know yet til I ask the endocrinologist) are the result of a pituitary microadenoma I have. My hormone levels have always tested normal, though it's clear due to one symptom I have that they're off at least SOMEWHAT.

Otherwise, maybe you're just not into the sexual techniques you've tried? Maybe you'd prefer a different gender?

For me, I'm lucky enough to get to live some of my fantasies so I know it's more physical than mental....but it's worth getting checked out.
