Well if you can't add to the topic at hand, then your not of much use. Especially if you think grammar is an indication of intelligence. You may want to consider that thought the next time you have a surgeon operate on you. Be sure to test their grammar first. |

Bernie supporters (I'm not saying this person is one) keep having these confrontations with Clinton that somehow make it onto video, whether it's in public like this or the one at the fundraiser or the ones at town halls. They often use a disrespectful tone (again, not saying that about this person) and say pretty rude things.
Each time, Clinton keeps her cool and addresses the substance of what people are saying, and even suggests ways they themselves can change things. Women in particular often say they can't imagine someone speaking to a male former senator and Secretary of State in the same way these people do to Clinton. I, at least, watch Hillary and can't imagine being this calm and patient with some of these people. It's quite a contrast to Donald Trump. |
It's a bit disingenuous to claim Clinton keeps her cool. In pretty much all the videos you mentioned Hillary eventually resorts to sarcasm as she did in this video. |
And I'll add that Hillary not keeping her cool is the only reason these videos make the news. |
See, you interpret it is sarcasm, but I don't. I think she's being entirely serious when she tells the person to go run for office. The reason these videos keep making the news is because people keep engineering the confrontations. It doesn't seem to be having the effect you hope for. |
"You know what dear", as she raises her tone, is when the sarcasm begins. How often do you respectfully call someone dear? |
I agree, I didn't think she was sarcastic either. I thought she was serious. |
|
It sounds like she is seriously discussing this woman's concerns, and then the woman continues to ask follow-up questions and they are eager to move her along. This is not a one-on-one event. I agree that HRC sounds a little exasperated, but at the end she quite sincerely seems to wish the woman good luck. Not sure why this is newsworthy.
I'm certainly having a hard time picturing Donald Trump addressing a series of questions about Somali-Americans from this voter in a more patient and gracious manner. |
So if someone says to you "You know what dear" in a raised voice, you believe them to be offering sincere advice? |
| I'm actually quite impressed that she knew there was a Somali American on the city council. Which tells you that she might be in fact more involved and aware than your average politician. |
Yes, I agree that was impressive. Which is why I originally asked what role Hillary had in getting Abdi Warsame elected since she was proud of the fact. |
| And did that woman say that the council member was not genuine or something along this lines? Because that doesn't translate into "wanting a dialogue" to me. |
| Donald Trump would have told his goons to punch that woman in the face. |
She didn't want a dialogue. If she had, she would've given her contact information to the campaign, as hundreds of people on the trail have done, and they would've followed up with her, because they always do. What she wanted was a video and when she had that, she left. |
Do you personally know Stacey Rosana? Or are you just making stuff up? |
