OP I am usually the last to call out names but you sound very immature. You need to grow up and while at it stay in your lane.

My kids are 4 and 2, and we VERY rarely give them artificial sweets. My 4 yr old think of banana as a sweet, or coconut.

I'm not like your SIL in regard to dietary rules and restrictions, but I hope someone slaps YOU OP. Do you even know how you sound?

Op is a very mean girl.

Good grief, you sound like my sister. Are those your kids or her kids?

I wish there were a rule to delete threads with the subject line all in caps.

Why does this make you angry??? Do you care for sweets that much????

How strange of you, OP.

I would have fun thinking of fun non-sugary things I could do with the kids.

I'm guessing that OP is annoyed because that puts her in the situation of denying her own kids ice cream in order not to make her sister's kids unhappy - or feeding her own kids ice cream in front of her sister's kids. I don't know that that would make me write a thread title in caps but it would be annoying.

Once had a friend visit from out of town and her kid wasn't allowed to watch a certain tv channel that my kid watches. So we were prepared not to watch that channel. Then her kid went right to the tv and turned that channel on (friend wasn't in the room obviously), while my daughter is trying to figure out what to do. In this case, it was irritating because my friend had tighter rules for her kid but was a wimp about enforcing them, leaving me to feel like I had to enforce rules for her kid that I wouldn't enforce for my own. Obviously that may not be what is bothering OP. But it's what comes to my mind.
