Each pathetic excuse you make = blood on your hands Totally unnecessary & totally preventable: http://m.ajc.com/news/news/crime-law/2-georgia-toddlers-killed-in-accidental-shootings-/npMBC/ Are you truly that heartless or just clueless? |

Why can't everyone seat in their danm seats during takeoff? Get off the phone, tray table up and listening ears on.
I hate fuckers who ruin simple shit. |
I would think this woman w/ her child might be the one that reported the activity. Maybe there was a flight attendant in the back whom she notified. Wasn't it mentioned in the article that the passenger that notified them was female? |

"If you see something, say something."
Do some of you hate that? |
You are probably right. |
Yeah, when what you see is someone looking at his phone, I hate that. |
OP, I think you are a complete tool. Hyper-vigilance and profiling is expected after Paris. These things are going to happen, and honestly I rather err on the side of extra safety than regret. Look at Germany, terrorists just tried to blow up a full stadium, where the prime minister was going to be. |
You believe that reporting someone for simply looking at his phone is acceptable and call me a tool? I certainly hope you have bought an economy-sized package of Depends because you are going to need them if that is indicative of your bladder control. |

My sister was traveling with us one time with her 4 year old son. Apparently his name was on the list, and the TSA wanted to question him. The agent had to lean over the counter to see him.
3. Years. Old. They still wanted to talk to him after realizing how old he was. After about 10 minutes they changed their minds, probably realizing how stupid they were being. Wish it weren't true but it is. |
Ok, sorry about the tool comment, that was uncalled for. It's just that I understand people feeling on edge, don't you? There are moments that something feels off, it has happened to many people. What if this was a well meant report? What if something had happened and the person had not reported it? Yes, hyper vigilance can be a pain, and it can lead to mostly false reports, but if it saves one live, I think it is tolerable. |
You accept this as tolerable because you can't imagine yourself being on the receiving end of it. If you were the one pulled off a plane because you watched a news report on your phone, I suspect your attitude would be different. I get that there are paranoid individuals out there and I think the airline is just as responsible in this case. If a passenger was scared, they should have changed her flight rather than pulling off four innocent people. |
About six months before 9/11, I was on a cross -country flight where 4 Muslim men were acting suspiciously once in-flight. I told a flight attendant who had noticed it as well, and notified the pilot. I believe it was a practice flight. You know when something is not right |
It this case, the only thing not right was the pants-wetting passenger's suspicions. In your case, there has never been a Muslim man who didn't appear suspicious. |
There is "suspicious activity" and there is "reading the news on your phone" ....they are not one and the same. |
