Field trip chaperones can find residency cheaters

Go back to the Maryland forum with the other A-holes from Bethesda. There is no shortage of parents who paid far more to live in DC than you did for a shitty cookie cutter 70s split-ranch.

DCPS is desirable? In what universe?

It dawned on me that even young kids, including my own, know what street and city they live in. I can just make conversation with the kids about where they live. If I find one who reports to live in Maryland, take their name and report to authorities. Boom.

Just imagine if we had groups of parents doing this for every field trip in every school across the city...

Sounds as effective of determining who was Dominican and who was Haitian in the 1937 genocide,

"The method his soldiers used in 1937 to try to identify those who would be killed was cruelly unique. When confronting someone in the lands along the border with Haiti, they would hold up a sprig of parsley and ask what it was. If the person responded by trilling the "r" in perejil (Spanish for parsley), he would be free to go. Anyone who didn't trill the "r" was thought to be a Haitian Creole speaker — and was likely to be killed..."

Just imagine if a kid got it wrong, didn't know his address, sometimes lives with one divorced parent somewhere else?

You seem fun. You and OP together could really clear a room.

And this is why chaperones need to be on file with Central office. Creeper!

Since they offer free prek taught by ctedentialed teachers, many of whom have Master's in Education.

Try applying that standard to the staff at CCUMC, and see how they measure up.

And insert all of her answers onto a form on your oversized smart phone as she's giving them. Click submit and it instantly goes to the Office of Reaidency cheaters. So convenient!

+ 1 -- OP your solution of interrogating children about their personal information is more than questionable and suggests that you have poor judgement. I would not want you near my children (who are indeed DC residents). You have crossed the line and should serious reconsider your motivation for "volunteering" at your child's school.

hahaha! There's an app for that! Where You Live and How Much Wine Mommy Drinks

(and Mommy's special friend that only comes over when daddy is at work- did you guys miss that gem from a hilarious teacher!?) Oh the things kids say! Let's gather and store all that information just like "listening barbie" will and store the details on the cloud.

The DC residency cheaters don't tend to come from MoCo, but PG instead.

Don't feel bad or assume parents are lying. You had a 3 year old tell you they live in Maryland. Maybe it was Maryland that day and tomorrow it's DC with mom.

A 3 yo. Are you kidding me? Maybe they used to live in MD. You have no idea.

I love the way folks rationalize fraud. Maybe because they are fraudsters themselves or have a family member or close friend who is doing it?

People aren't rationalizing fraud. They are saying that a 3 year old may not be the most reliable source of information. Mine says she lives on Saturn sometimes. How can you not understand this?

Notice how she worked calling us residency cheaters who live in pg county into this discussion?

Lady, I know I trolled you in the other thread but your obsession is past the point of being funny. Seriously, you're about three steps from putting on a tin foil hat and rigging it up to antenna on your car to mind read brain waves--and catch the cheaters. Get some help.

Right...ask my 3 year old something and there's no telling what you will get. We live in DC, but she constantly talks about Virginia because we visit the grands frequently and that is where they live....and she references everything as if it happened yesterday. For instance, she asked me about remembering that time when we went to our beach house on yesterday. Yeah, that was in July, but she asked me this on yesterday. Leave the little people alone! Residency cheaters will get caught the appropriate way.
