Does your housekeeper wear his/her regular shoes when cleaning your house?

The US is not a 3rd world country where horses, cows, people defecate in streets.

Do the visitors wear slippers that other visitors have worn?

I wouldn't want to wear slippers that other people have worn.

If someone is an employee, do OSHA regulations come into play? I would imagine shoes would be required for safety.

We are a no shoes in the house family but I don't say anything to the housecleaner.

She's free to clean however she feels comfortable.

You aren't naked if you're wearing socks.

No we make them take their shoes off, and also use a separate bathroom just like in The Help.

(Actually I clean my own house in whatever I happen to be wearing and think this is the height of First World Problems.)

We don't wear shoes in the house, so the house keeper doesn't wear shoes. She takes off her shoes off and wears indoor client flops that she keeps here.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this. We are a no shoes house. I had our house cleaner buy new shoes of her choosing and leave them at our house, and I reimbursed her for them. Then, she gets to wear what she wants and I don't have dirty shoes in my new house and on my new rugs/carpet.

When it rains, she just does the cursory wipe on our welcome mat but not much more. I'm curious what other housekeepers wear.

Yes, we kindly request that they strip and then spray them up and down with sanitizer. How else do you know if they're clean?

This is not a bad idea.

That's why I wear a face mask wherever I go. You can never be too careful.
