Does your housekeeper wear his/her regular shoes when cleaning your house?

Loving this thread. The things people worry about...

I would think not wearing shoes would be a safety issue.

Same.

Ours take their shoes off but we don't wear shoes in the house typically.

It's gross for anyone to wear outdoor shoes inside the home. Unless it's right before clean up time. I can't imagine a cleaner leaving their outdoor shoes on. It doesn't make sense! I always have extra clean slippers for visitors.

Do the visitors wear slippers that other visitors have worn?

They can be a safety hazard (slipping on stairs).

You can say that again. I'm a real estate agent and have slipped while wearing these many times. I would never ask someone to wear these while carrying a vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs.

No shoe house here. Period.

I don't wear shoes in my home and would expect a house cleaner to either remove her shoes or wear shoe covers.

I've never been home when the cleaning service is working. No clue. I would rather they wear shoes than fall or get hurt. Not a big deal.

Is that all? I insist on a Hazmat suit before entering house as I do not want her bringing in germs from outside.
