My Wife Hits Me

My wife hit me a few times. The first time I didn't do anything, except curse at her. We were in public with the kids to make matters worse.

I know I will be flamed for this but,
The last time I grabbed her, placed her on the floor, straddled her and put my hand around her neck and calmly told her I could seriously hurt her if I wanted to. She has not raised her hand to me since (several years ago).

I didn't plan to do this but in the heat of the moment after being hit I reacted.

Of course, if your wife is almost as strong as you this approach could end badly. And as others have said it is probably better not to be married to someone you feel you have to be able to overpower to feel safe. But if you're strong enough, putting a little fear into her, without really hurting her, might not be a bad idea until you are ready to walk away.

This is what you need to do. Provoke her to hit you hard enough to leave a mark. Better yet set a video to tape it. Then call he police and have her charged. You will now be legally able to kick her ass out and divorce her and not pay alimony.

I have been in a similar situation. It escalated until my wive threw a knife at me. I called police then. She lied. My word vs hers. I was taken away -- not charged -- not arrested. She ended up with the house and 40% of my salary.

I honestly can't see a man divorcing a wife for her hitting him. Not saying it's eighth. Just saying I can't see it. Men react very differently to situations than women.
