My Wife Hits Me

You may be right. But should it be that way? I don't think violence in any relationship is cool.

You're despicable. Would you say the same thing if a woman were saying her husband hits her.

OK. Let's not believe someone b/c they're male.

Actually, it has more to do with it being one week and four pages, yet OP is nowhere to be found. Team "I Call Troll."

But continuing to be naive is certainly your right.

She's been at it all week. I can't see but can feel the bruises on my ribs. Tonite she threw a piece of rotten fruit at me demanding to know why I bought it. She is a sick sick woman. I would love to divorce her, but that means paying for two households I cannot afford (unless I can get a court order for her to pay the mortgage), plus she threatens to accuse me of abusing my children. I feel lost. It is us a shitty situation all around.

No advice for OP? You need to get a PO and kick your wife to the curb. Let her fend for herself.

I don't know how this works but there has to be more than just an accusation, right? How old are they?

Are there states in which alimony is off the table if there has been abuse?

Worry about the money later, OP. Divorce her. Nobody deserves this.

I don't know why but I can't stop laughing at this

Document. Take pictures of your bruises. Record her hitting you. Get a lawyer.

Can you record her? Im not sure of the legality, but it seems like it would help.
