Huh? |
Really. The President does not care about asthma. ![]() |
In fairness, subjecting your kids to second hand smoke shows a distinct lack of caring |
Who said he subjected her to second hand smoke? |
We know that she has asthma. We know that he smokes. We know that second hand smoke causes asthma in children. Sure, correlationndoes not alway equal causation, but it is infinitely more likely that her asthma was caused by his smoking than by global warming. |
What makes you think he smokes around his children? |
Anyone know if asthma is an ADA recognized disability? Google doesn't give me a definite answer. |

It's not "infinitely more likely". Both pollution and smoking contribute to asthma rates. Neither one contributes "infinitely" more than the other. |
It's OK to drive the Yukon because China. Also OK to idle it anytime for as long as you want to because cigarettes. |
I am a big Obama supporter. However, as a parent, a great message from the President would have been: "My child has asthma. I have learned the hard way that there are negative consequences to smoking. Please don't smoke, if not for yourself, then for your children. Learn from my mistakes". Instead the message was: "All of you polluters have caused asthma in my child. I take no responsibility and everyone else is at fault". I have a hard time respecting this. |
He did not say anything of the kind. But go ahead put words in his mouth and then hate him for what you have invented. |
Sorry, what did he say? I thought I read that he said pollution was the trigger/cause. If that is not the case, great. |
Clearly you do not understand asthma. The trigger is not the cause. My asthma can be triggered by breathing cold air. Cold air did not cause my asthma. Now do you understand? |
