Who said I was flustered? Because I called out straw man who wanted to debate the Iraq War as if it is germane to the conversation? Yes, I have a strong opinion. I actually read parts of the book b/c I have family who think he was a hero. What I read made me sick, and it makes me sick that this film is glorifying this guy.

Go for it. See the film. It's not a documentary, it's entertainment, and it doesn't change the basic facts of who Chris Lyle was, what he did, and the disgusting ways he glorified his acts in his book.

I saw the movie and thought it was excellent. It was very true to the changing face of 'the war'. When u send someone to interact with peoole who use drills on children and behead enemies, its fine for me if a reduction to good/evil makes sense to them, makes sense to me .
