What was the weirdest thing you liked to eat growing up?

Me too.

I bought them once as an adult out of nostalgia. So gross.

The ice/frost that would line the inside of the freezers at the grocery store.

Something about it was like crack to my siblings and me -- we would scrape some off with our fingers whenever mom wasn't looking (she thought it was filthy -- it probably was!). It had this sweet metallic tang. I swear I can still remember the taste.

My mom used to dry Jimmy Dean sausage patties with pineapple rings - I loved it. Also she mixed green olives and cream cheese and put it on a bagel for my school lunch

Fry, not dry!

Cream cheese and grape jelly sandwiches (white bread, of course), and cold hot dogs straight out of the fridge - whole, no bread/roll. Those were the lunches/snacks my grandfather used to give us.

Ketchup on rice - which was really just a bit of rice in a pool of ketchup. Makes me nauseous to think of it now!!

Ketchup on noodles. Sometimes ranch dressing if I felt like an Alfredo mood. I admit I still do it to this day as comfort food when I have pity parties for myself.

I'd dip my pretzel sticks in yogurt.

Oh, my sister and I used to love the long pretzel rods dipped in Cheez-whiz. It was a special treat - on our yearly trips to Niagara Falls.

Rice + kraft cucumber dressing (now discontinued)
Potato chips and ketchup
Hunks of Cheddar cheese put in the microwave until it was crusted and gooey - puddles of oil would come out
Ketchup on pizza (whic I still kind of like)

Mayonnaise sandwich on wonder bread. I lived on those!!

Peanut butter and mint jelly sandwiches. For the love of dog, I can't figure out how I came to put those two together. Had to be on white bread.

Also soda crackers made like sandwich with vanilla ice cream in the middle. This one I can wrap my head around from a flavour profile standpoint, and may actually try again as an adult.

Peanut butter spread out on a slice of bologna, then roll it up.

Buttered white bread with a slice of American cheese.
Creamed chipped beef on toast.
