Which Way Home on Netflix is amazing. It's about children and teenagers who ride freight trains through Central America to make it up to the U.S. Border. A great book on the same topic is Enrique's Journey.

"Holes in my Shoes" about a jewish man, grew up on lower east side in poverty and the track of his life and career til age 96 - joyous!

"Exit through the Gift Shop" a documentary within a documentary about fame and graffiti artists and the art world - fascinating!

"The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"- about these parrots that live in this neighborhood in San Fran - so sweet!

The "7-up" series........follows the lives of a group of british schoolchildren - every seven years - til age 56 - addictive!

"Capturing the Friedmans" about a father and son accused of horrific crimes - suspenseful!

I would like to see this one - - - (I read the book and was fascinating): "The woman Who Wasn't There" About a woman who faked being a survivor on 9/11 at the WTC

I love documentaries...keep 'em coming.......

Anonymous wrote:"20 Feet from Stardom" - about backup singers - this was wonderful and I think it streams on Netflix.

"First Comes Love" - about a woman who decides to have a baby on her own. This was on HBO. Also very interesting.

"Babies" - can rent it on ITunes I think. Follows the first year or so of four babies in four different countries.

"Never Sorry: Ai Wei-wei" - great documentary about the Chinese artist. Streams on Netflix.

She also did one called "Always a Bridesmaid". While I don't love her style of film making, I find the topic very interesting and relevant.
