Why is it the Arab world's responsibility to take care of the Palestinians? They aren't the ones bombing them. Israel is.

Let ME remind you:

Israel tells Gazans to leave their houses without providing a safe place to go. It has bombed schools, hospitals, shelters for the disabled, so the Gazans may be forgiven for assuming no place is safe and may as well die at home.

It is the job of soldiers to kill and die. So far, IDF is vastly better in the former than the latter so I ain't weeping for them.

Israel treats Palestinian wounded if and when they reach Israeli hospitals after being held up for hours at the checkpoints by men in IDF uniforms.

Here is a solution.

Offer US citizenship to every resident of Gaza, Israel, and Palestine. It would be illegal to hold both a US and an Israeli passport or Palestinian identification papers. In other words, each person must choose between US citizenship and Israeli/Palestinian citizenship. No Israeli would be able to have the US passport fail safe, as many do now.

Let those who are left, the ones that truly wish to stay there and only there, figure out how best to live together.

Most of the population of Gaza wasn't of voting age when Hamas was elected in 2007 but that doesn't stop IDF from imposing collective punishment upon them.

It's about land, water, energy - very limited resources in a very severe environment. Israel has bigger guns so it takes what it wants - land, energy, water. Who controls the ground water in Palestine? Who controls the energy switches? Who expropriates the land? Who is squeezing the fishing industry in Gaza by pushing them closer and closer to the shore, first 16 km, then 10 km, then 3 km, where no commercial fish stock exists? Who is destroying the farming industry by blocking exports?

It's about the money, silly. It always has been. Israel opens its borders to every Jew in the world but it neglects to tell them that if they come, they'd live in very, very cramped quarters so it has put itself on the path of never-ending territorial expansion.

There were also images today of hundreds, if not thousands, of Israelis enjoying the beaches in Tel Aviv this afternoon.

It takes a special type of arrogance and insularity to do that while your military is bombing apartments and killing civilians a mere 50-60 miles away. It makes the Hunger Games look like a Jane Austin novel.

Their behavior is very excusable. If I was the parent of the 4 kids killed in the bombing - I would do everything I could to destroy those responsible. I would have nothing else to live for but revenge.

That is the reason , you can never win against terrorists. You can win against an army - but they are not playing that game anymore, are they? So, we have no idea where they will strike. And millions of US dollars that could have have been spend on Education, Economy, Environment - is being spend on trying to fight a shadow enemy who has nothing to live for. What can we bargain and negotiate with, when most have nothing to live for!

Besides - Holocaust was a European phenomenon, so Israel should be carved out of Germany or some place in Europe. Maybe US can hand over some parts of Utah to the Israelis, or let all of them immigrate to the US. Why not? We are letting everyone else migrate here anyways.

A couple of points.
Israel is not strong, it is heavily aided by the US.
Israel can not fully defend herself without the US.
Palestinians were not the enemy, Israelis made them into the enemy. The real enemy was Germany and Israel CAN NOT FIGHT GERMANY (in all ways).
Israel is projecting anger onto the Palestinians, and that makes Israel feel strong.
Even if Israel looks at other past enemies like Russia, Poland, Romania, Austria, France, England... she could not fight them.

The Palestinians have made themselves into the enemy.
