Washington University in St. Louis.
I expected a boring Midwestern campus and was blown away by the GORGEOUS campus adjacent the largest urban park in the country. Undoubtedly the most beautiful campus among Top 15 schools. |
| High Point University in NC |
Not really. Just the most insecure and self-promoting. |
| UW Madison - Observatory drive overlooking the lake or sitting on the terrace at the Union also with a beautiful lake view. |
| Virginia Tech. Beautiful. I had never been there before |
+1. I was impressed also. |
Maybe because its name sounds like a fake university like Adelphi or Strayer. |

+1 for Furman
For the pp who was worried about rankings/acceptance rate- my sibling went there, really liked it, and then went to grad school. Their roommate went to medical school. |
+2. Another vote for Furman. |
| Penn State |
As an alum, it warms my heart to see someone listed UConn on DCUM! Big state school, but much prettier than Maryland. Speaking of Connecticut, the main part of the Yale campus s beautiful -- gothic structures, lawns, etc. -- would never know you were in New Haven. |
Um. No. |
| Claremont colleges (but not surprising) |
+1. Wash U is headed to the Top 10. One of the "hot" schools" |
