The house on Maple for 1.2 million is on my block. It is gorgeous and I would buy it in an instant if we could afford it. I'm sure the open house will be packed.

By the way, you can't hear the metro from either the house on Maple or Holly.

The original house was your standard boxy colonial built in 1952. I think the renovations actually gave it more charm and now it looks like it fits into the neighborhood better. But...to each their own.

That house has been on the market for 30 days. It is 4 blocks to the Metro. No reasonably priced (or even unreasonably priced) house in that neighborhood sits on the market that long. I'll let you do the math.
