| TkPk is a cult. I got out. So can you. |
|
Short walk to metro. But I wonder if you can hear the trains?
No central air. |
Those aren't the listing agent's remarks. Those look to be auto generated by the site from the property information. The actual listing agent remarks are below. |
| I love this house. Also love the one that listed for 1.2, will be curious to see what both sell for. |
| How can you tell there's no central air? |
| A purple and pink house. It's my 4 year old daughter's dream home. |
| I just showed this house to DH. I think he was ready to put in an offer. And we own a lovely (small, old) house in DC already. |
|
The house on Maple for 1.2 million is on my block. It is gorgeous and I would buy it in an instant if we could afford it. I'm sure the open house will be packed.
By the way, you can't hear the metro from either the house on Maple or Holly. |
|
The 1.2 million house looks very blah and generic on the inside.
Everything that makes the charm of an old house was ripped out. The first one is much more charming IMHO |
You mean the crap of the old house |
| The original house was your standard boxy colonial built in 1952. I think the renovations actually gave it more charm and now it looks like it fits into the neighborhood better. But...to each their own. |
I was waiting for that post, I am surprised it took you so long. Anyway, that's not the point of the discussion. |
| The house on Maple, listed for 1.25 million, is under contract before this Sunday's open house. |

What do y'all think of this one? http://www.redfin.com/MD/Takoma-Park/212-Dogwood-Ave-20912/home/10974656
Please tell me it's overpriced for 1080 square feet. Otherwise, I might lose my mind.

That house has been on the market for 30 days. It is 4 blocks to the Metro. No reasonably priced (or even unreasonably priced) house in that neighborhood sits on the market that long. I'll let you do the math. |
