Butter chicken

Cut up 3 chicken breasts. Sprinkle with garam masala and salt. Sear in pan with olive oil. Get them browned on both sides.

Add a can of organic tomato sauce and add a teaspoon of garam masala. Cook for 10-15 mins. Salt to taste.

When finished cooking fold in some Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons. Stir quickly and serve over rice.

You can use heavy cream if you want!

I love this too and add .25t of red pepper powder

2 lb pork roast.
Coat both sides with Worcestershire & your favorite spice rub.
Slow cooker for 10 hours on low.

Best ever. Literally 2 minutes prep time. Steam a bag of the veggies with rice to go with it, or add BBQ sauce for pulled pork sandwiches.

Chop the meat of a cooked chicken. Rotisserie from grocery store is great. Add one package frozen veggies (any kind you like). Add one can of cream of chicken soup concentrated and one cup of chicken stock/bullion. Stir together in a casserole pot, such as a Le Creuset. For the topping mix 1.5 cups of Bisquick with 1 cup milk. Pour on top. Top that with a drizzle of 1/2 cup melted butter. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour or until the dough on top is golden. I guarantee this will disappear. ...

Crock pot I did last night

Pork roast, browned it and put in CP
Threw in
1 bag trader joes toaster peppers and onions
3 cubes frozen garlic
1 large can diced tomatoes
Couple scallions (whole)
1/2 bunch of cilantro
1 lime quartered
Salt, pepper, cumin,

Tonight I puréed the sauce in the crock pot with an emersion blender, pulled the pork and made enchiladas, covered with the sauce and cheese, baked for 30 min

This might be long winded, but it actually only took me ablut 10 minutes each night other than the baking/cooking
They were soooo good, served with lettuce, tomato and sour cream

Oh please do tell what types of things you eat. Kale for breakfast. Pomegranate seeds for lunch. Daikon radish for dinner? Those who eat th fewest calories live the longest after all...

+1...some of these are great ideas, but some of these are "cooking" about as much as "take pizza from freezer, put in oven." Some of you probably could back off the processed foods a touch.

My quick dinner is skinless chicken thighs - just quickly saute in pan with salt and pepper, then deglaze pan with white wine or lemon juic e and some garlic and capers and baby spinach for a pan sauce. I generally serve with rice or couscous (so quick !).

It took three pages and three days for the asshats to show up. Must be a DCUM record. Please, Madam Easy-Loved-By-Everyone-Cook. What's yours?

Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
4 cups water

Make according to package, then:

A few shakes of garlic powder
One raw egg

Add both and let cook two more minutes

Voila: Egg drop soup.

(Throw spinach and parmesan cheese in it and call is straciatella.)

I do the fake egg drop soup with broth quite a bit.

I love this thread! Thanks everyone for the ideas...

Chicken Pita Pockets
6 Pita bread pockets (preferably whole wheat for health)
1 lb. sliced chicken (from freezer) (approx. 1 lb. or 2-3 pieces)
1 sliced red or green* bell pepper
1/2 sliced red onions
4 oz. sliced mushrooms
shredded lettuce
1 chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup sandwich peppers or relish
6 tbsp mayonnaise or other condiments as preferred
If your pitas are not ready to stuff, prepare them by cutting a sliver off of the widest side. I find that they stuff without cracking if I steam them or heat them in the microwave briefly to soften them. Prepare each pita as preferred using any combination of the above fillings.
Cucumber and Tomato Salad
Potato Chips
Frozen Grapes
