Still early? Grading on a bit of a curve, aren't we? Should we check in with them Thursday night for their final predictions on Wednesday's snow? |

Is it time to cue the "why is Fed on liberal leave when my school is closed??"
Or will it be "My kids are home for the day and now my furlough 'me day' plans are ruined!" |
It will be "my kids are bored and I'm trying to conference in to work" Or "What does Rockvill pike look like? Since the office is empty and the home daycare is open I'm thinking about going in" Or "My neighbor is tossing snow on my driveway which dh woke up at 4am to shovel. What should I do" |
You must be one of those really special people to be in a relationship with.
|
| Please please please please please let it snow. We need one decent snow this season. *putting underwear on head and opening freezer* |
Yeah, the only thing worse than the snow pussies are the Massholes who like to talk about how tough they are in dealing with snow. Shut up. |
Ha, so true! |
There's more than one state in New England babe. |
+100!! |

I was all pumped for Snowquester- I'm from the south and have never seen more than a couple inches of snow at once, my DD is 3 and LOVES snow so we can go out and play in it.
Then... my husband called me from work, sniffling and asked me to pick him up some Day/NyQuil. NOOOOOO. He plans on being sick with a MAN COLD while we're housebound!! FMLLLLLL. |
| OMG, snow pussies, MAN COLDs, Massholes - this thread is made of win. |
Totally agree. I would wholeheartedly love snow, if it weren't for the blowhards from the north telling us all how much worse it could be and how we all suck. |
PP didn't say she was from Mass. It is absurd, the panic that sets in when 4" of snow is predicted. It happens every time. Locals say "but we're not used to this." Huh? We must be used to it, because we have this conversation pretty much every year. |
Totally agree. It snows every year, people. This is not Key West. When we got 2 feet of snow a few years back-- I agree, let's freak the heck out. But 4 inches of snow is hardly some once in a lifetime event in DC. YOU CAN HANDLE IT!! |
ROFL! You nailed it PP. Thanks! |
