Next time, don't Mapquest your joke (6.745 miles, what a douche). |
+1, you rock!! Even though this will likely be a wet snow, we'll get out the sleds and tromp around a bit until the fireplace calls (and wine...) It helps that our family lives on the Hill and we never lose power. |

Geez, a l ot of anger on the board today.
I have a huge project at work, and will really let down my manager if I don't do it tomorrow (even if it snows)....but......Bring on the freaking snow! We haven't had a good snow in years. And I will always remember what a co-worker told me a few years ago. Her biggest regret was focusing too much on work and not on time with her kids. And one great reason to play with my son is a snow day! So snow...snow...snow...snow....snow!!! And I do feel sorry for anyone who truly can't afford to take a day off. I hope you maintain power and are able to get your work |

For DC and parts of Maryland, probably... out here in Loudoun County we're already at 3 inches + and it's still falling heavily. |
| WHERE IS ALL THE SNOW we were supposed to get? They cancelled FCPS classes and the roads are completely clear! Did the snow completely miss us, or are we going to get dumped on later today? |
| No snow on Capitol Hill. Why is the fed closed? |
Later this morning per Capital Weather Gang. |
Oh, we have snow. I just saw a flake drift by my window... |
Do you know how to read a weather report? No where did anyone say that you would wake up to several feet of snow. Do you justmake up the news in your head or are you just that lazy that you can't do your own research? It will be snowing all day, at times up to an inch an hour. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/capital-weather-gang |
| It better be impressive. I just gave my nanny the day off. |

I'm a New Englander. Not phased by the snow, but am a bit concerned about the predicted reports of wind and thundersnow. That's what takes out the infrastructure and creates overall havoc.
We fear nor'easters up there. I'm a bit afraid to see what damage has been done to coastal home up there. Been a tough winter so far. Landscapers have no nightmare to report from exterior inspection, but looking at the interior ceiling will tell me if there were any breaches. |
Phone home NE. |
| Crisis!!! We are down to our last 6 pack of TP. Not sure how we are going to make it. Rationing is in effect. |
| Snow emergence in effect: I am going back to bed. Kids watch tv and eat junk food. |
