wow. the sudden negativity.... As the OP , I asked for "hot Dad sightings" , not bitter comments about who is middle aged, bald or pasty. lighten up . Isn't it more fun talk about who is handsome , than be so negative ?

And hello, in LA people are hired and paid for ONE thing: their looks so , of course, there are a lot more good looking people in LA. In Washington, there are other requirements needed in order to be successful, such as an undergrad from Stanford, and a Harvard law degree, a Rhodes scholarship or a Masters from Cambridge. In Washington, you might just find dozens of people who are all of the aforementioned.

St. Patricks mom here. Lots of attractive men there. But they all seem to fit one mold of handsome. Monied, often pasty, slightly stiff, white guys. When DS got to St. Albans, I suddenly found myself interacting more with a much more diverse crowd, including quite a few debonair, slightly or greatly flirty, non-white guys. Of course the mother load of such things would have to be WIS. Looking to send DD there. LOL.

Its not just LA that blows away DC. Try Sf, Chicago, NYC, Boston, Miami, Seattle, Denver, Austin.

Fellow St P's mom here, you are missing some of the hotter dads at our school. One of the best looking is an AA dad with three kids. Of course, his AA wife is even more gorgeous. I can think of a two other AA dads (both with two kids) who are also hot and/or super cute. I think you aren't looking beyond your crowd, PP, and I am white, FWIW.

If you are into trying something different waspy momma, check out Prep for freckled, ruddy faced Irishmen, with growing potbellies, but nonetheless still athletic, charming, and strong bodied. At least a dozen fit this description and are not so hard on the eyes.

I have a few crushes on some Dads at my children's schools.....some based on looks. Some based on charm and personality. Beauvoir & St. Albans....but that doesn't mean anything. Just answering the question. I'm sure I'd find crushes anywhere else.....human nature!
