STA mom here.

OK, Ladies. There are HOT Dads elsewhere as well, so please, let's hear it ? Who are the top 5 at Sidwell right now ? ( subtle descriptions only, but do elborate on the hotness factor)

PP, I don't believe you are a parent with a kid in a NW DC Private. Why? Because everyone , but everyone knows that Washington is loaded with high powered inter-racial couples. I can count 5 white men off the top of my head who are married to black women, and that is just at one DC Private. I assume these black women thought their husband was sexually attractive, at least at some point in time.

But, back to the point, any HOT Dads at Sidwell?

So our top 3 choices are Beauvoir, Maret, and GDS for K. Assuming that we get accepted (I know, I know), based solely on hotness of dads, which school should we pick?

Beauvoir.

I don't see what's so uptight about the poster. I'm not so sure I would want a whole lotta strangers having personal info about my hubby. Hopefully, this forum will die a slow death. There is no doubt the schools mentioned have seen this forum and are probably much embarrassed. Hmmm, definitely sends out a message to those applying what type of folk they can anticipate associating with at the so-called upscale privates. Flame away!

What personal info: Handsome AA man is a first year parent at the school? Totally embarrassing details.

New poster. Maybe not that the individual details are so embarrassing, but rather that it's not enjoyable to be the subject of public conversation here (or at least I'd imagine that's true for most people). I also am surprised that moms from that school are having this discussion in public. Sort of paints the school in a gossipy light.

Paints the school in a gossipy light?

Wade around the Private/Independent School forum for a second or two. You'll see that this is the norm, rather than the exception. Which is why it's always so busy and fun . . .

We seem to have a troll, ladies.

Yeah, I've been around this forum for a few years now, so I'm well aware of how the discussion can get. But gossip about the attractiveness of a particular parent at a particular school (even if not identified by name) is reaching to a new low, IMHO.

Fair point.

Frankly, if we can move beyond the two gals doing battle over that AA post, we could have some fun with this thread. I actually like that GDS post. General enough so that it could be quite a number of people, but with enough specific detail to make it interesting.

I am the OP and I'm all for opening up the thread to " Hottest nebbish at GDS" . Wait, what a great title for e new thread. And we can shed serious mom.

Hell, any woman over 30 who uses the adjective "hot" to describe anyone has issues.

PP, you have absolutely no sense of humor. Truly zero. Lighten up.

Hottie nomination here. Talked to him while touring Capitol Hill Day School. He is a current parent. Gray-ish hair. Boyishly handsome. Quiet intensity but also a bit of mischief to those eyes. CHDS just moved from safety school to first choice school!

Wise move by the AD making him a "face of the school" for parents.

Can we count grandparents? Cause the VP does it for me.

Oh, JB is a pro at working a room, and also has really good taste in clothes. I think he's a more attractive man now than he was, 25 yrs ago.

There is at least one hot dad at Burke. Very nice. Athletic. Fun.

I am tired of all of those men going through a mid-life crisis dads. As their waistlinesexpand, and their hairline recedes, they just find so many ways to try to make up for it, always falling flat. The hottest dads in my book are those who are with their trophy wives, well beyond a mid-life crisis, probably old enough to be the parent of many of the parents at the private schools, have the "been there, done that" mentality to parenting (because they probably have), and are just overall much more relaxed about everything, making them, well hot. I am thinking of one person in particular, at a NW private school which I will not name because I don't want to out him, but I bet if you put your mind to it, you'd come up with a few that you know who fit this description at whatever school your kids are at.

You think the hottest dads are the ones with trophy wives? Not hot to me at all.

Maybe the PP meant the trophy wife who is a trophy because she is the first, one, and only wife. The hottest dads have been married to their wives the longest.
