How old were you when you had your first child?

28 - most people I know in this area having their first child are in their early 30s. It is so bizarre in this area! My daugher is 2.5 and I am not planning on #2 for a while. She'll likely be 4 before we add another...and that is mostly only going to happen because we are leaving this area!

I am, by far, the youngest mom around, but it's been great. My mom friends are all about 10-15 yrs older, but we learn so much from each other. We're equalized by virtue of the fact that we're all doing the same thing - raising kids the best we can! We all deal with balancing work and marriages, schools, sleeping, etc.
