Superficial question - do you still wear your class ring?

I still wear my class ring ,its a simple signet ring I wear on my pinky finger. I actully think it looks great.

I am glad that I got a classic signet ring for my college graduation because I still wear my ring on my pinky finger and its been 25 years.

I don't remember my particular crowd wearing class rings, more than 30 years ago. Back then, women who wore pinky rings were mostly lesbians. That's really the olden days, with jewelry and hankie codes.

I have a high school one that I never really wore. I hate hate hates HS. When I'm going through old jewelry I look at it like a keepsake that reminds me of a really crappy time. It doesn't make me sad, exactly, I just see how far I've come.

I got my class ring during senior yr of HS but stopped wearing it once I started college. I think it's somewhere in my parents house. College sucked so no ring for memories. No one got a college ring that I know.

Lots of MIT grads continue to wear the "brass rat." It actually features a beaver, the engineer of the rodent world. According to DH an undergrad wears it with the beaver oriented toward the wearer. After graduation it's turned the other way, so people can see it when they kneel to kiss your ring.

Alas, DH was poor at the time and couldn't afford one. I don't know any women who wear a class ring.

My college class ring is very small, rectangular in shape with 5 tiny diamonds and the school name in what is probably 3 point size font on the top. Very understated and classic design. I've worn it everyday for the past 24 years. I've gotten tons of compliments over the years and most are surprised to learn its actually a 'class ring.' However, I don't think I would wear one of the more traditional rings with the big stone in the middle.

Yep. Plain white gold signet. Women's college. It was my mother's, too. Love it.

Nope. Wonder where it is.

When I lived in austin I noticed a lot of Texas A&M grads wore them (both men and women).

It seems kind of pathetic.

I graduated from the College of Charleston. My ring is gold with some black lacquer to highlight the Randolf Hall design on the face. After college, I had it resized to fit my pinky finger. I love it. It looks classy. I wear it often, usually with no other rings on that hand. I am proud of the school where I got my bachelors degree. Now, it would be ridiculous if I bought and wore rings from my two masters degree schools.

No, because I don't live in 1987. Also don't wear a letter jacket.
