So, as a 40-something WHITE educator who's seen my fair share of young black teens incarcerated for gang/criminal activity, I'm a racist? (and a piece of crap, too)

YOU are the racist if you don't see how the media blows up stories about whites who are murdered or white kids who are abducted. Let's use Caylee Anthony as one such example. It's 2012, and she was discovered missing in 2008. Last night I saw yet another story on this puzzling mystery.

Now while I'm completely sympathetic, I'm certain for every tragic story about a white person, there are - oh, let's see - maybe five cases dealing with minorities that are NOT reported.

I don't get how the Apple Store employees didn't think to call the police. They could hear something, and they knew that was not the norm for that business. By the time the police got there, it probably would've been too late, but I just don't get it.

I thought the manager told the security guards to go over and investigate. Also, maybe they didn't think it was a big deal because they heard two women fighting. It's unusual for a woman to another woman especially in that neighborhood.

No, Norwood was caught stealing from the store and knew the victim was going to turn her in, so she lured her back to the store saying she forgot her purse or something then attacked her. She was trying to make it look like a robbery, but it was definitely premeditated b/c she tried to dump the victim's car and brought plastic zip ties to tie up her hand's as well as the woman she murdered.
