I have a lifetime of trauma, but I'm stronger than all of you, and I'm the only one who doesn't need therapy. Because "why would I need a therapist when I have my kids."
Also, I've been estranged from most of my family since the 90s, but don't understand why my kids won't drop everything to go on the out-of-state funeral circuit with me. |

I am the bickering between parents who were emotionally immature to begin with, and am now gaining momentum thanks to increased limitations due to aging along with less filter.

AND THEN SELL THE HOUSE AT AUCTION. All contents. - did this for my late grandparents (as a 20something) when my own mom decided she absolutely couldn’t deal with the travel and overall headache that was the estate she inherited. |

We didn’t waste our money like your generation-we worked hard and saved. Yes! Saved every damn thing they’ve ever owned, inherited and purchased. My ILs have 3 cars (!), one driver and use their 2 car garage for storage! Need canceled checks from 1989? All are stuffed in file cabinets in a spare bedroom. How about cans of paint from the renovation in 2002? Baby equipment purchased for grandchildren now in college? DH in complete denial about what a mess he will have to deal with and how long it will take to ready this house for sale. |

I am the badly written will that gave all the decision making authority to a really old attorney who went to college with my father that stipulated that all the house contents including the car be sold, even though there are eight teenaged grandchildren who would have liked the car. |
