Handing out free AR-15 magazines to anyone, including kids, outside the Virginia state capitol

Seems like it would then be justifiable to just shoot all these idiots with high powered rifles.

BTW…why do they all look like absolutely losers in life?

This was not a protest. It was an opportunity for this group to advertise the total idiocy of the Virginia legislature.
Job well done.

But still…why would anyone bring their assault rifle to such an event…and if they did, according to Trump, Patel et al, then the police are justified shooting those people simply for bringing them.

Honestly…who feels safe with these losers bringing these rifles out in public for zero reason? Did you look at the video…these folks easily come across as nut jobs that have zero business owning these weapons…again, why do they all appear to be big losers in life?

Hmmm, by that logic, ammunition and magazines are not guns, therefore, the government can regulate the heck out of both as no one has a sonsitutional right to own them.

Let's outlaw ammunition!

You do have to be over 18, rifle, or 21, handgun, to buy ammunition. Possession isn't a crime though.

On that video, the guy handed a package of ammunition to a very young child. At least they'll know who supplied the bullets when the next school shooting happens.

This is absolutley sick and irresponsible behavior.

Because if Spanberger and the VA legislature has its way they will not be able to take them out of the house ever again. Not for hunting. Not for target practice. Not for any reason. They want to make it illegal to carry this firearm anywhere in public.

Not sure you’ve thought that one through, Skippy. People who own firearms would stock up bigly before any ban. But you know what they wouldn’t do? Practice. Why waste ammo when you can’t get more?

You really want a bunch of gun owners using their weapons when they haven’t practiced?

What’s the fastest something has made it to SCOTUS? This will demolish that record.

No, ammunition was not being distributed. They were handing out $9 30 round magazines. A pro 2A company was lampooning legislation that will eventually be struck down by the Supreme Court. In the meantime sales of AR-15s and associated accessories will skyrocket in VA ahead of the July 1st deadline.

I have little doubt it will be overturned because it is blatantly unconstitutional, but this was a great way to get information out.

Add to that, the fact that the VA legislature is exempting themselves from some of the same gun laws they are imposing on the citizens of VA.

Great move by this group!

Your comment makes no sense.

Maybe an Animal Farm reference.

This is insanity. These people are NUTS.

Insanity is legalizing drugs and killing babies but thinking preventing law abiding citizens from owning self defense firearms and high capacity magazines will keep felons and illegals from getting guns. Illinois has done this, but 95% of the County Sheriffs refuse to enforce it, saying they won't go against the US Constitution.

Where does the Constitution say that halfwits have the right to high-capacity magazines?

See Heller. Common usage.

That’s (a) a stretch and (b) not the Constitution.

(a) SCOTUS saw it differently

(b) SCOTUS will overturn this

(C) That will strike down all assault weapon bans and magazine bans in the U.S.

Corrupt SCOTUS is corrupt.
