This is insanity. These people are NUTS.

Insanity is legalizing drugs and killing babies but thinking preventing law abiding citizens from owning self defense firearms and high capacity magazines will keep felons and illegals from getting guns. Illinois has done this, but 95% of the County Sheriffs refuse to enforce it, saying they won't go against the US Constitution.

Where does the Constitution say that halfwits have the right to high-capacity magazines?

See Heller. Common usage.

That’s (a) a stretch and (b) not the Constitution.

(a) SCOTUS saw it differently

(b) SCOTUS will overturn this

(C) That will strike down all assault weapon bans and magazine bans in the U.S.

Corrupt SCOTUS is corrupt.

It was 2008. The RBG era. SCOTUS was ideologically balanced. Use your brain.

I was referring to b/c.

It's a stretch to infer that Heller protects high-capacity magazines.

In.

Common.

Use.

There are tens of millions of AR-15s in civilian hands and they all come standard with 30 round magazines.

By July everyone’s neighborhood will have multiple AR-15s in them. Spanberger will be crowned The Gun Salesperson of the Year.

We're libs (and I'm a POC) down to donating to AOC but recently bought an AR 15 and tons of extra magazines due to Spanberger. Lots of good comments in there about how during a fascist regime banning guns is stupid. Dear I say us and our social group may not vote/vote third party/primary those same people who supported it. Doubt it would do anything but it feels like the VA Dems have lost touch with the voter base (likely due to the proximity to DC) and treat our state like an extension of federal politics rather than our own wants and needs.

I have yet to meet (not saying they don't exist) within ALX anyone who supports how far they've gone with the restrictions and instead of common sense gun laws which WE ALL WANT they've passed something so confusing with so many different traps, loopholes, and nonsensical language.

Like what a PP said, they could have done so much more- TRUE tax reform, enshrine abortion, more healthcare reform but THIS is the hill they chose to die on.

Seems like it would then be justifiable to just shoot all these idiots with high powered rifles.

BTW…why do they all look like absolutely losers in life?

Sure seems like it.

Are they kicking out lights from ICE cars?

Creating more gun laws doesn't enforce existing gun laws. It just feels good and you can tell your constituents that you did something.

Anyone that owns an AR-15, or multiple, who also has young children, should do the following:

1. There is no age restriction on magazine ownership. Anything owned prior to the ban going into effect is grandfathered and legal for the owner to possess and utilize.

2. Parents can only sell or pass on an “assault weapon” to a close family member, or child if the ban becomes law.

3. The ban does not allow the transfer of the magazines owned by the parent when they transfer the AR-15. The intention of the Democrats is to render the AR-15 inoperable because it has no magazines.

4. Parents should go online immediately and order 10 brand new 30 round magazines per child, whether they’re 6 months old, or 30. Have them shipped separately to each child with the label reflecting the child’s legal name as the recipient. When they arrive do not open them. Put them aside until the time comes to transfer them the AR-15.

5. Make sure the children keep the box and receipt after they open the box.

Problem solved.
