Repeating ad nauseam only makes people time out more. I didn’t vote MAGA but I’ve learned the Democrats dont represent me either. They care more about the party than people. It is a lot of crocodile tears about people but it’s more about power for themselves. They infantilize the everyone else in the party. They listen for key word workout listening to intent and ahoit people done (a la MN yoga studio).

What both major parties do is weaponize law and forget the net party in power will use those same powers against them. It’s a frickin’ hamster wheel.

If you can honestly "both sides" the current situation, you have brain damage. Just sit out the next election, please.

Democrats are "nice." Mostly. They like to be above it all, play by the rules, show they are better than the GOP lowlife scum (and they are). Think of all the “whataboutism” that has led to where we are. I cringe whenever any democratic politician or left-leaning outlet like msnbc use even moderate-by-comparison manipulation tactics either through omission or even just raising the outrage level equally across all issues and actions. It just lends a hand to MAGA and MAGAnablers to move the center line, and without the shame that keeps many (I’d argue most) on the left and “mainstream” outlets from jumping in the same mud. The problem with trying to fight fire with fire is the left use a controlled burn while Foxnation has a gas can in each hand. I’m in a state of hopeful desperation a leader will rise who can bring the honest, decent, majority of this country together before this earth is scorched. I don’t have any doubt that a free and fair election in November would signal a resounding message that WE the decent people (yes this includes plenty on the right) will not stand for cruelty or chaos. That does not mean we can get there with even a sliver of complacency. There’s plenty to be in passionate opposition to. But employing gross tactics, be it in the form of misinformation, hate, or shameless gaslighting, would make it impossible to ever see this country heal.

If Biden hadn’t tried to unilaterally nullify immigration law and border enforcement Trump wouldn’t have been re-elected. He let millions of unvetted illegal economic migrants into the US under the pretext that they were here to seek asylum from some unidentified war/genocide/natural disaster that happened in Central America the minute Biden rolled back Trump’s border enforcement.

Now we have Trump and I don’t even have to list what all he has done because one of you trained seals will be along momentarily to tell me all about how his lawlessness is so much worse than the other team’s lawlessness.
