And if they can mange to turn on the electric busses in cold weather, they have to run them with the heaters off so the battery doesn't drain and stop the bus fr tunning?

They lose some range, but they start up and run much better than the diesel busses do. I think they all still have plenty of range for urban areas like ours. It's only a concern for long bus routes in rural areas.

I cannot believe that ele tric busses are better than normal diesel busses in cold weather

They can't run both the heater and tge engine in cold weather

I don't know what to tell you. Maybe get your facts from a real source instead of Facebook. Electric are superior in all but cost and long distance trips. They are vastly superior in city driving and stop and go, like a bus route.

My back door is frozen shut. The snow is all now a frozen iceberg that can’t be moved. I had an appointment at a medical office for 1 pm and they just called me to say they’re remaining closed after all and I need to reschedule. All library branches are closed. There is definitely no school happening tomorrow.

I can’t imagine how much it would cost to install the chargers for a bus lot.

None of the secondary roads are plowed in my neighborhood, and the plow on the main road keeps blocking in the cul-de-sacs.

Many school parking lots and sidewalks haven’t even been touched yet. Way harder to move than normal snow. No chance at Wednesday. Maybe teachers will go in Thursday bc they only need to clear a few parking lots
