Those days were a waste and didn’t count towards school days anyway. No one wants online classes again.

a lot of students want online classes.

Sure. So they can check out and not have to really interact with others. Great idea. 😞

Closed all week and next Monday at least.

If its 0 degrees or -3 degrees in the morning, then safe to assume its 2 hour delay Wed thru Fri at a minimum.

I would guess closed Wednesday, 2 hour delay Thurs + Friday but just speculating.

We are in Springfield and it’s bad in our neighborhood. The plows came thru a few times but it’s so icy. Bus stops aren’t fully cleared because some people don’t do their sidewalks. It’s a mess and I’m sure we’re not alone. I wouldn’t expect them to bother on it Wed given two hour early release.

Don't electric busses stop working when it gets cold?

And if they can mange to turn on the electric busses in cold weather, they have to run them with the heaters off so the battery doesn't drain and stop the bus fr tunning?

They lose some range, but they start up and run much better than the diesel busses do. I think they all still have plenty of range for urban areas like ours. It's only a concern for long bus routes in rural areas.

I was just going to say the same about diesel and the electric range. Diesel has trouble because it gels.

Did you forget that there is no scheduled school for students this Thursday and Friday?

Obviously you aren’t in FCPS. Wednesday is quarter end 2 hour early release and teacher work days Thursday and Friday.

2 hour delay plus 2 hour early release has to equal closure.

They wouldn’t do both. If they delay on a day like that they dismiss at the regular time.

I think Wednesday they will close.

Oh no. Our private relies on the decision FCPS makes. . And there won't be one Thurs/Fri? That's not good

we live next door to a school. the streets aren't clear enough for the buses to make turns and it's too cold for the roads to clear on their own. no school this week. worried about next!

There’s no way they’re having school this week. The buses can’t get through and the sidewalks are blocked.

Once you are in UConnect and then My Documents, W-2s, click on the Tab called My Delivery System. Scroll down to Web Delivery. Make sure you click on “No”.

I believe if you have opted out of web delivery for W-2s, FCPS will mail you a paper copy of your W2, so hopefully you will just need to use a laptop in a school one time to opt out.
