If your kid is not white do you make them carry identification around with them?

I’m also not worried at all about myself.

We are Asian American and we all carry passport cards at all times.so many instances where ice detained Asian us citizens. Recently there are reports of ice asking “where are the Asians living in your neighborhood?”
I’d rather do without the trauma, thank you.

We live in an affluent area. I did tell my kids to have a photo of their passport just in case. I’m pretty sure they would say they were born here with their perfect American accents and say their parents were also American citizens. They can only speak English.

How precious. How long do you think youll be insulated from it? Gotta love rich people.

My kids are half Indian and half White so they do look brownish. Middle schooler already walks around with a school ID but I put a copy of his passport in his backpack, too. He thinks it's silly but it makes me feel a little bit better.

DP. We’re US citizens and the target minority. I’m not carrying anything other than my drivers license and my kids are doing what they always do, which is nothing.

I’m not going to be afraid. I’m not going to act differently. I’m not communicating fear to my kids. Screw all this. Bring it on.

If you want to live in fear, you do you.

I understand the "as long as its not happening to me, I'm not stressing" sense of sanity preservation but I am aware of what is happening around our area since I also have a kid who bikes everywhere and is mixed race. There is evidence of them tearing up passports and stealing phones so the best course is a tracker with a perimeter alert in case they are kidnapped.

Air tags on everyone, including adults in case they get snatched up. Also, be careful of what is on your phone, social media posts - even kids phones. Don't anything illegal in your house or car. Marijuana etc.

Avoid conflicts with neighbors, other drivers who might complain about your behavior, they may drop a dime on you.

Why do you care, MAGA?

The only children you care about are those not born yet
