No I did not.

That’s good. Only sleep after marriage.

Am I being too uptight?

It doesn't matter - you two are not a match.

This ..I have a dark sense of humor and often find crude things funny. That doesn't mean your reaction is wrong. At the end of the day, the only thing wrong here is how HE reacted to it. He should have apologized. You're not a good fit and that's fine. End it now

No, because if YOU wouldn't find it offensive, that doesn't mean OP didn't. OP is entitled to your opinion, as are you. I'm pretty hard to offend so it may not bother me, but if it bothers OP and the guy she is dating thinks she shouldn't be offended, then they shouldn't be dating.

If anyone is wondering how you end up on those threads bashing your husband 10+ years in - this is it - ignore the red flags in your relationship and have kids with him anyway.

He should care that he offended you, at least enough to understand why and avoid doing it again. You don't have to pretend to be one of his bros in the locker room.

Op here.

It was a locker room bro joke type of meme. A girl sticking her tongue out like a dog I guess to represent interest in oral sex?

When I told him it was offensive he said I’m easily offensive and called me a princess.

Is that how you would like to be treated by the person you're dating? If the answer to that is no, then break up. This isn't hard.

She's the one that drew first blood. Why didn't you just ask him his meaning and interpretation in the meme because you don't get it
Instead of being so offensive to him as to say "I'm offended". You're the Quilty one with no social clue.

Because she didn't misunderstand anything. He is history.

This tells you on many levels who he is, none of which are good. Definitely move on.

Op here. He is a dad to teenage girls too. So bizarre.

And? Trump's wife isn't American and he has daughters as well. I don't know why you think this matters.

I give a lot of leeway to the people I know and trust. Strangers have no business sending me offensive jokes. I would have been put off too.

Why do you think a pedophile is a bar setter?

This sailed right over your head.

I'd love to be Quilty! But all joking aside, you seem like the clueless one. The meme was vulgar, and his response was tone-deaf. OP is right to get rid of him.

How? I basically agreed with you and just added that I have a different threshold for crude jokes based on my familiarity with the person.

You need to be clear who you are so that when trash like this tries to undermine your confidence.
