If you "feel the cold" which one thing helps most?

You need to get up and do jumping jacks or sit-ups or push-ups every 30 minutes. This is what my husband does.

This and wool socks. I feel constricted in too many layers.

If you don’t need to be on camera (or don’t care) wear a Snuggie.

I also have the wicked good slippers for my feet.

Do you have a real Irish sweater? They are really the most effective thing if you add whole body cold.

I tend to get cold on my butt and legs. In winter, I often wear cotton flannel Pj pants on the house (from lands end) and sometimes silk long underwear or the Costco brand long underwear under them. (My daughter loves the Uniqlo heattex). I sometimes put a heating pad under my butt (got the idea from my heated car seats). I also love my fleece wearable blanket when I really get cold:

Starting October I always wear a pair thin cotton sneaker socks under a pair of thicker crew cotton socks. They fit in slippers and shoes, are warmer and more practical than thick wool.

One of those microwaveable pillows filled with rice, which I take to bed with me at night. Got it at a craft fair for like $12. I was mostly being polite by buying it but turns out it’s the best. Without it I often can’t sleep.

Got mini splits recently. Expensive but they change the game.

Electric throw blanket! I sit on it and wrap it around me.

My iron and thyroid are fine. For years Ive benn asking various doctors about why I am always cold, and none have any medical answers.

I wear wool socks all winter long, have an electric throw at work and at home, and have WoolX base layers (tops and bottoms) that I wear under everything, all winter long.

Silk sock liners (can be purchased at REI) with wool socks on top are great for keeping feet and toes warm.

Turtleneck, cashmere hoodie. Cashmere is so much lighter for the warmth than other wools that I find it much more comfortable. I just have one cashmere sweater that I wear every day, because it is expensive. And like others said, a mug of something hot to warm my hands on.

Shearling-lined boots were a game changer for me. Uggs don't have enough arch support for me, even for wearing around the house, so I wear these:

Even though only the shaft of these is lined, they keep my feet toasty.

Sorry, just looked more closely at these and I see they are no longer lined with real shearling. What a disappointment.

Have you tried these or similar? https://www.homedepot.com/pep/Frost-King-Indoor-Window-Insulation-Kit-3-per-Pack-V73-3H/100135637

They made a difference in my old office before we got new windows. Still needed a space heater sometimes, but it wasn't as cold.
