Pomona falls to ADL, Brandeis Center for Antisemitism, no mention of Islamophobia

Anonymous
The BBC has issued guidelines to news staff to the effect they may question the actions of Israel but not the existence of Israel itself, in other words anti-Zionism is considered antisemitism, despite Zionism being the ideological foundation of ethnic cleansing and genocide through mass murder, mass starvation and the most grotesque forms of torture.

Settlements at UCLA, Columbia and Pomona as demanded by the US government, with undoubtedly more to come, indicate that the same applies to the US as well.

Meanwhile, a Zionist mob ran wild at UCLA, attacking a pro-Palestinian encampment, while UCLA police watched and did nothing.

This is the bare minimum that Pomona needed to do.

None of these acts are antisemitic, however.

How ‘bout the “Heil Hitler” graffiti? That clear cut enough for you?

I’m going to need a cite for that allegation.

I don’t see what this has to do with anything. They have a free speech wall that said “Palestine deserves to die” when we toured. Welcome to college. Trash people everywhere.

+1, the ADL and all these other organizations are basically bullies who force everyone to be Zionists or they come after you. No I don’t believe in the $bitty state of Israel, that is more invested in bombing children than operating a stable government.

Why is no one questioning the fact that the college created a council for Jewish lives only? That’s really strange. The fact that this only exists for Jewish students should be vehemently denied and honestly they deserve a lawsuit just for doing so.

No one else gets special institutional privileges, so no, Jewish students shouldn’t either.

Let all the above be stipulated as having been the case. Such acts, as described, do not fall under the purview of the ADL.

What about acts like these?

https://www.pomona.edu/administration/president/statements/posts/community-update-disruption-hillel-memorial-event

I support Pomona's response:

"The following day, we committed to a full investigation and pledged to pursue appropriate disciplinary action. The individuals believed to be responsible have since issued a communication filled with threatening, dehumanizing and antisemitic language. The sentiments expressed have no place in a community dedicated to teaching, learning, and respectful dialogue.

"Over the past two weeks, we have reviewed hours of event video and security footage in an effort to identify the individuals involved. We thank the many members of the 5C community who have submitted information. Your support has aided us in making tangible progress, and I want to take this opportunity to provide an update on where this investigation stands."

The ADL has no grounds to supersede such a response.

FFS. Blame the victims—that’s your response?

BTW, did you bother to actually read what the settlement entails? I don’t think you’ll find it particularly objectionable.

I truly have no idea what you mean by blame the victims.

I have yet to read the details of the settlement. This being the case, my comments thus far can be regarded as tentative.

Snort. You express the same concerns about BLM?

This is the most violent campus attack nationally from around this time of which I am familiar. (To characterize the perpetrators as uniformly Zionists appears to be speculative, however.)

The ADL was responsible for that. False fag operation.

What about the HH thrown by Elon Musk?

The literal point is that there ISNT a council for black lives.

Your definition of Zionism is what Hamas’ charter instructs should befall the Jews.

If the above was the foundation of Zionism, 20% of the Israeli population wouldn’t be Arab/Muslim citizens with equal protections for all. Have you ever been to Israel? Show up on a beach in Tel Aviv any day and count the number of hijabs. You’ll lose count quickly as you’re distracted by the call to prayer.

Israel has lost the PR war for sure; with lies like this repeated over and over and over again, you’ve won the pink haired left. They’ve bought your story. The moderate Arab world knows differently and continues to collaborate on issues of importance.

I know, I know. You prefer us in cattle cars headed to the slaughter. The Jews are most useful when we are weak, submissive and quiet. Use us for our brains, our dedication to humanity as we cure diseases, create lifesaving tech, turn deserts into farms, write all your favorite Christmas songs.

But that’s where our utility ends. We aren’t allowed to fight back when provoked or dare we win a war.

+1 beyond the rape and murder, they took hostages and hid them under their civilians. Hamas knew Israel would attack and wanted it. They just under estimated the scope.

There’s nothing brave about typing propagandistic nonsense on DCUM. You want change? Help get the literal antisemitic-supporting president who is beginning a white nationalist coalition that will drop the “judeo” from judeochristian as soon as it’s politically favorable.
